Recycle with Vuka Recycling

LWRA has partnered with Vuka Recycling, a dedicated NPO working to reduce landfill waste. They collect recyclables from our homes on Thursdays and Fridays (by arrangement).

• Plastic water and cold drink bottles
• Cans
• Plastic food containers (e.g., yogurt, cream, etc.)
• Office waste paper
• Newspaper and cardboard

Important: Please rinse containers to ensure safety for the waste sorters. Do not include: nappies, pizza boxes, or contaminated containers.

Our trees and lawns help keep the air clean, especially near industrial areas like Dunswart and Anderbolt. Support our environment by:

• Installing an owl box or birdbath
• Growing indigenous flowers and plants
• Avoiding artificial, non-sustainable gardens
